Shotgun Wedding explores the tension between young people’s longing for intimacy and connection along with Gen-Z’s growing rejection of traditional marriage. The narrative interrogates how desire persists even as conventions fracture, asking what forms of intimacy we seek outside institutional commitment — and what rituals of tradition we still cling to, despite ourselves.
